I am a mother, wife, rancher and photographer living in the rolling hills of southern Saskatchewan. I really do live down a dirt road so when it rains a lot we are stuck. Our closest city is a 2 hour drive away and even there the tallest building is the grain elevator.  Our local grocery store has just the necessities so creativeness and gardening (which I suck at) are key. My graduating class had 10 kids in it and that was considered big. Follow along as I discuss life on the farm and a small town (population 50).

  1. Holy cow! You do live in a small town! How many people (total) went to your high school?

LOL! Our town has a school with Kindergarten to grade 12. They have been hovering around the 100 mark for students for the last 10 to 15 years or so, which is decent…not huge, but decent. Our school draws in from 4 other surrounding communities because they don’t have schools anymore and many other town’s schools are being threatened to closing…ours is pretty safe so far.
